Report illegal content

How to submit a notice about content on Pistaclub that you believe is illegal, and how we handle it.

Last updated: July 16, 2026

Under Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), Pistaclub provides this notice-and-action mechanism so anyone can report content on the platform they believe is unlawful. Anyone — a Pistaclub member or not — may submit a notice. Anonymous notices are accepted but may be reviewed at lower priority.

For copyright complaints specifically, use the DMCA / Copyright page instead — that channel is legally distinct and handled by our designated copyright agent.

If you have a Pistaclub account

The fastest and most auditable way to report a specific piece of content is the in-app Report (🚩) button visible on every post, comment, listing, review, message, photo, and profile:

  1. Open the content you want to report.
  2. Tap or click the 🚩 Report action (in the "⋯" menu on most surfaces).
  3. Pick the closest category (harassment, illegal content, doxxing, fraud, etc.) and give a short explanation.
  4. Tick the good-faith declaration and submit. You'll receive an on-screen DSA receipt number in the format PC-RPT-YYYY-NNNNNN and an in-app notification when a moderator has decided.

If you don't have a Pistaclub account

Send a written notice to our DSA single point of contact:

dsa@pistaclub.app

We aim to acknowledge complete notices within 2 business days and to act on them within a reasonable period — typically less than 5 business days for clear cases. Complex or legally ambiguous notices may take longer; you will receive an interim update.

What your notice must include

To meet Article 16(2) we need a "sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated" notice. Please include all of the following:

  1. A sufficiently reasoned explanation of why you believe the content is illegal — including the specific law you think it breaks (harassment, hate speech, defamation, unlawful personal-data disclosure, illegal marketplace goods, incitement to violence, terrorist content, CSAM, etc.).
  2. The exact location of the content — the full URL of the post, listing, comment, message, review, or photo. "Somewhere on the forum" isn't enough.
  3. Your name and contact email, unless you are submitting a notice about content described in Article 3(t) of the DSA (offences involving human trafficking, child sexual abuse material, or the sexual exploitation of minors) — anonymous submissions are accepted in those categories.
  4. A statement, in good faith, that the information in the notice is accurate and complete.

Notices missing any of the above are not invalid — but they may take longer while we ask you for the missing information.

What happens after you submit

  1. Acknowledgement. If you submit via the in-app Report flow, you see the DSA receipt number immediately. Email notices are acknowledged within 2 business days.
  2. Review. Our moderation team assesses the notice against Pistaclub's Community Guidelines, the Terms of Service, and applicable law. Urgent categories (illegal content, doxxing, hate speech) are escalated automatically.
  3. Decision + statement of reasons. If we act — remove the content, restrict its visibility, warn or restrict the account — the affected user receives a statement of reasons complying with DSA Article 17: what we did, why, the legal or contractual basis, whether the decision was automated, and how they can appeal. If we do not act, we tell you why.
  4. Outcome notice. If you were logged in when you reported, you receive an in-app notification of the decision. Email notifiers receive an email reply.
  5. Appeal. Both the reporter and the affected user can appeal a decision. In-app users appeal from Profile → Support. Non-users reply to our acknowledgement email.

Single point of contact (DSA Article 11)

For communications with EU Member State authorities, the Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services, our single point of contact is:

dsa@pistaclub.app

Available languages: English, Czech, Italian. Communications in other Tier 1 platform languages (Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch) will be handled in reasonable time. This inbox is distinct from user-facing abuse and copyright channels.

If it's not about illegal content

  • Copyright → see /dmca and contact copyright@pistaclub.app.
  • Privacy / GDPR (access, correction, deletion of your own data) → see the Privacy Policy and email privacy@pistaclub.app.
  • Community Guidelines violations that aren't illegal (spam, low-quality content, off-topic) → use the in-app 🚩 Report button. Most reports fall in this bucket.
  • Rider ↔ organizer or buyer ↔ seller disputes — see the Terms of Service: Pistaclub is a neutral intermediary and does not mediate transaction disputes.

Misuse of this mechanism

Filing repeated notices in bad faith — knowing the content is not illegal, or targeting a person to harass them — may expose you to liability under national law and to counter-measures on Pistaclub (deprioritisation of your future reports, account restrictions, forwarding to authorities where warranted). See Community Guidelines § Abuse of reporting.

Transparency

Aggregate figures on notices received and actions taken are published in our annual DSA transparency report at /transparency.
