How to report copyright infringement and how Pistaclub handles takedown requests.

Last updated: May 24, 2026

Pistaclub respects intellectual property rights and expects its members to do the same. If you believe content posted on Pistaclub infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown notice. This page describes how.

Who can submit a notice

You can submit a takedown notice if you are:

  • The copyright owner of the material, or
  • An authorized agent (lawyer, rights-management organization, etc.) acting on the owner's behalf.

Submitting a notice on behalf of someone else, or in bad faith, may expose you to liability under U.S. law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and equivalent provisions in other jurisdictions. We may share notices with the affected user.

What your notice must include

A complete DMCA notice must include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (a description, a registration number, or a link to where it appears).
  2. Identification of the infringing material on Pistaclub — the full URL of the post, listing, comment, or media file. "Somewhere on the forum" isn't enough; we need a specific link.
  3. Your contact information — full legal name, postal address, email address, and phone number.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typed full name is sufficient for electronic notices).

How to submit

Email a complete notice with all of the above to:

copyright@pistaclub.app

Or by post to our designated agent:

Pistaclub — Copyright Agent Prague, Czech Republic Email: copyright@pistaclub.app

We aim to acknowledge complete notices within 2 business days and to act on them (remove or disable access to the material) within a reasonable period — typically less than 5 business days for clear cases.

Counter-notice — if your content was removed

If your content was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notice. A complete counter-notice must include:

  1. Your full name, address, email, and phone number.
  2. Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal (the URL).
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your judicial district (or, if outside the U.S., the courts in Prague, Czech Republic) and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
  5. Your signature (typed full name is sufficient).

Send the counter-notice to copyright@pistaclub.app. If we receive a valid counter-notice and don't receive notice of a court action from the original complainant within 10 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We terminate accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers, in accordance with the DMCA. "Repeat infringer" means an account that has received multiple substantiated takedown notices within a 12-month period without meaningful corrective action.

For allegedly illegal content other than copyright (harassment, doxxing, hate speech, unlawful marketplace goods, defamation, etc.), see the DSA Article 16 notice-and-action page at /report-illegal-content.

For other Community Guidelines complaints (spam, off-topic, low quality) please use the Report flag ( 🚩 ) on the content itself, or see our Community Guidelines for the full list of reportable behaviors and how the moderation process works.
