Automated content moderation

Pistaclub operates a small rules engine that automatically queues or hides content matching specific patterns (spam keywords, scam URLs, new-account restrictions, etc.). In 2026, the rules engine fired 1 times.

  • keyword_block — Catch counterfeit/replica goods in marketplace (lifetime hits: 4)
  • regex_block — §4.4 — URL shorteners are a common spam/phishing vector. Queues for admin review across all UGC. Trusted veterans (trust_score >= 50) are exempted. (lifetime hits: 2)
  • url_blocklist — §4.4 — Known crypto-scam domains. Auto-hides immediately (high confidence — these domains have zero legitimate uses on a motorsport platform). (lifetime hits: 2)
  • keyword_block — §4.4 — Stolen-goods phrasing in marketplace listings. Routes to admin queue for human judgment rather than auto-hide (some phrases have legitimate uses; admin reviews context). (lifetime hits: 2)

  • Response times are wall-clock from report creation to report resolution. Rows with no resolved_at are excluded from the median/p95 calculation.
  • system_genesis hash-chain anchor rows are excluded from action totals — they are internal bookkeeping, not moderation actions.
  • Rules-engine total_hits counts automated actions taken THIS year (DSA-relevant), not lifetime rule fires.
  • Appeals are read from ContentReport rows with reason=appeal. A dedicated ModerationAppeal entity is planned for future phases.
